Crafty Toasty

Looking for a friendly space to meet people and try something new? Crafty Toasty might be just the thing!

These free sessions offer community art along with tea, coffee and a toasted sandwich. They meet at the Liskerrett Community Centre every 2nd and 4th Tuesday, 10am to 12 noon.

Lighthouse Lady’s Health & Wellbeing Group

Our lady’s health & wellbeing group is for ladies who are struggling with their emotions or feeling isolated and lonely. The group is on Fridays 1-3pm as well as an evening or weekend depending on the activity.

The group is focused on building confidence, improving self esteem, meeting new people and raising aspirations through talking and creative activities, all in a safe, warm and friendly environment.

As well as hanging out in the Centre socialising the group also offers a variety of other activities including Emotional Logic, paddlesports, cycling, trips and wellbeing workshops from external professionals.

Lighthouse Men’s Group

Our Men’s Group promotes good mental health and wellbeing in a warm and friendly environment through a variety of activities and services!

Are you a man struggling with life? Why not consider joining our men’s group where you can chat over a ride, paddle or run, learn new coping strategies and have your own one to one tailored contact support or just let us know what you’d like to do. We understand it’s hard to ask for help but by taking that step and joining our group you’ll make new friends, try new things and learn new techniques all in a safe, confidential environment. No costs involved.

What we offer:

SUPPORT – phone, online and face to face
SPORTS – paddlesports, cycling and running
SPEAKERS – self-help training and advice
SPACE – a chance to talk

If you’re up for a new challenge, a new start and a step on the road to recovery get in touch we’d love to hear from you.  The group meets Fridays 6.30pm to 8pm.

Come for a free cuppa and a chat at the Old School Menheniot, 10am to 12 noon on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
