Liskeard’s CCTV
The process for when members of the public request to view the CCTV is as follows:
- They should, in the first instance report anything to the Police as they have direct access to CCTV footage.
- All requests from the public are made via the Data Protection Team at Cornwall Council – https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/the-council-and-democracy/data-protection-and-freedom-of-information/.If they click on the ‘Make a Freedom of Information Request Online’ button this will take them through to the online form they need to complete.
The Data Protection Team are unlikely to authorise any footage which may identify another person so it is always best if the request comes direct from the police.
We often get asked about lots of other things which are dealt with by Cornwall Council. If you want to speak to them here’s the numbers for them and their various departments
