NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in normal circumstances, The Town Council Offices, 3/5 West Street, Liskeard are open to the Public from 8.45 am - 2.00 pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and 8.45am - 1.00pm Wednesday and Friday, except Bank Holidays or other official occasions.

WELL DONE LISKEARD

Liskeard has been placed 12th in the Times Newspaper top 30 UK Towns.

The reasons are varied, we are not posh or swanky, as some areas of Cornwall, and are not overrun by drunken hoards in the summer. Our "charming and honest" granite houses are extremely affordable, in comparision with the rest of the Country,  are in keepng with the Town, and our schools perform well. The Town is well provided with amenities, we are situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor, a World Heritage Site, and just a short journey by bus road or rail from the coast.

Liskeard Country Market

Liskeard Country Market is situated on The Parade and consists of 24 stalls with traders selling various goods from locally produced food and drinks to local crafts.

The market operates on every second and fourth Saturday of the month from 9 am to 2 pm. The next market is Saturday 11th May.

CAR PARK CHARGES

The Mayor has recently held a public consultation to debate his proposed changes to the car park charges in the Town. These proposals included FREE short term parking in the Sun Girt, Westbourne and cattle Market car parks.
